Founder, Power of Smol
I started as a web developer in 2002 and spent the next two decades at the seam between technology and business — digital marketing, APAC regional roles at AWS and Johnson Controls, always the person translating what the business needed into something a platform team could build.
I've also built from scratch. Co-founded PinqueLife, a lifestyle brand that hit break-even in six months. Power of Smol came from watching small business owners wrestle with the same problems that took enterprise companies years to solve — and knowing there was a faster way.
// The background
Builder, bridge, founder.
Building Notion systems and AI literacy programmes for women-led small businesses in Singapore and SEA. Flagship product: The Smol OS — a plug-and-play Notion OS for online store owners.
Co-founded a B2C lifestyle brand and reached break-even within six months. Built the operations, the systems, and learned firsthand what it costs to run a business without the right infrastructure.
Worked at the intersection of technology and business across three major MNCs. At AWS, launched regional web properties across Hong Kong and Taiwan, co-pioneered the APAC podcast, and coordinated Summits across five countries. At Johnson Controls, served as APAC regional lead — connecting seven markets back to global HQ.
Started the career writing code. That grounding in how things actually work — technically — has never left. It's why the systems I build aren't just pretty Notion pages.
MBA in Information Systems from Hawaii Pacific University, USA. Advanced Professional Certificate in Data Science and AI from NTU Singapore — capstone projects include a production-grade ML forecasting pipeline on GCP, and Lawra, a local agentic RAG chatbot you can chat with to find out road traffic laws.
